Tips

Watch the endings: many feminine school words end in -a (szkoła, klasa, lekcja, wiedza, biblioteka, ocena, akademia), while several masculine ones end in a consonant (test, kurs, egzamin, przedmiot, rozdział).
Don't mix up uczyć and nauczyć: both are glossed 'to teach', but they are aspect partners (imperfective and perfective), so notice which one appears in ongoing versus completed actions in the example sentences.
Learn studia (studies) and studiować (to study) as a pair, keeping the noun and the verb apart when you produce them in a sentence.
Remember that zajęcia (classes) is used in the plural, even when you are talking about one session.
liceum is neuter and names a specific stage of Polish secondary education, so learn it as its own word rather than translating it literally.
